Courtyard House Landscape – Water & Perennial Garden
This project proposes a residential landscape concept organised around a central water element and a sequence of outdoor living spaces. The landscape is designed as an extension of the architecture, with terraces, planting, and circulation aligned to the geometry of the building and the pool.
The planting strategy is based on perennial layers and ornamental grasses that define space while maintaining openness and visual continuity. Taller grasses and shrubs frame the pool area, softening the architectural edges, while lower planting allows for clear views across the site. The water surface acts as a climatic and visual anchor, reflecting light and enhancing the spatial calm of the courtyard.
Materials are kept consistent and restrained. Timber decks, simple mineral transitions, and limited planting palettes reinforce coherence across the site. The landscape evolves through seasonal changes, balancing structure with softness to offer a low-maintenance, long-term outdoor environment.
Make it stand out.
